Some of our older shared hosting Windows servers have ColdFusion 5 installed and in the past this service was made available to customers through the H-Sphere control panel.
Current releases of the H-Sphere control panel software, including the version we’re running at the moment on these servers, no longer support that version of ColdFusion. We also know that the upgrade to H-Sphere 3.0 will severely affect existing web sites using Cold Fusion and the presence of the older version of Cold Fusion may interfere with the upgrade process.
Unfortunately since there are very few ColdFusion users on our system and the server software is extremely expensive, it’s not practically possible to continue to support it on our shared hosting service. As a result we will remove Cold Fusion from our servers on or shortly after Thursday July 26th 2007.
