If you’d like to take advantage of our email services without moving your website then it couldn’t be simpler. Just follow our quick guide below.
- Add the domain name to your control panel (how-to info note: don’t change your nameservers).
- Turn OFF the web service for the newly added domain.
- Create and configure your domains mailboxes (how-to info).
- Add your newly created mailboxes into your mail client of choice (steps covered in #2 or you can use web-mail instead).
- Request the company managing your domains DNS (commonly either the domain registration company or existing web host) to change the MX records on your domains to be mail.pipeten.com (Ireland Clusters) or mail.pipeten.co.uk (UK Clusters). If they request to know what priority you would like the MX to-be this would commonly be priority 10.
