Closed.Brief: We are upgrading our Sheffield based hosting platform to the latest release. This update is a full version upgrade, as such it will bring many package updates across all servers and extra functionality as well as ensuring the continued security and stability of the hosting platform.
Timeframe: Between 20:00 Friday 14th November and 01:00 Saturday 15th November 2008.
Expected Impact: The control panel will be offline during the maintenance window. All managed servers will be upgraded and we expect this to be for a very brief period as each service is restarted.
What you need to do: All customers are advised to check their sites availability and functionality after this maintenance window. While we will endeavor to check all sites, this is a time consuming task and user reported issues will be dealt with as the highest priority.

UPDATE
0200 – All maintenance has been completed. The only known issue is a failure with filemanager / webshell on win1.pipeten.co.uk. Until such a time as we can liaise with the control panel developers, we request that all customers on win1.pipeten.co.uk use the FTP service with a FTP client such as FileZilla.
0930 – We have reports of passive FTP issues upon some of our Linux web servers, we’re currently testing and investigating this issue further.
1130 – We’re confident that the Linux FTP issues have now been resolved, the issue with filemanager on win1 persists.
There have been a few reports of AWStats not reporting correctly following the upgrade. If you find your AWStats has been affected please contact support.
