Closed. Outage Report
20:30 – We have reports of a DC wide network outage. Engineers are on route.
20:48 – Engineers are on-site working on the issue.
20:52 – Most connectivity has been restored but we’re still confirming exact problem and/or impacted sites.
20:58 – Network fully back up and running.
21:56 – This issue was caused by one of our connectivity providers performing further ‘investigation’ into Tuesdays outage an in doing so inadvertently replicated the same outage conditions. Fortunately this was quickly mitigated and only resorted in a very short outage for a small number of customers/servers. We were not notified of this investigation or any potential service impact, we will naturally be following this up this failing with the relevant parties.
The reporting on this outage will be contained within the outage report for 17/03/2009.
