A two hour network unscheduled maintenance window has been completed actioned to occur between 1800 and 2000 this evening (Friday 7th August 2009) in order to make technical changes on our Sheffield network to reduce and exclude the impact of an ongoing DDoS attack (distributed denial of service) against a customer on our network.
Please check this blog post first in the unlikely event you experience any issues with connectivity this evening.
UPDATE
19:35 – Additional connectivity has been installed and modifications made to the network architecture. The maintenance window is now over and all networks are performing normally.
