19:10 – We are aware of a power problem with sever cabinet 4 in our Sheffield facility. This cabinet has tripped it’s PDU and we are awaiting an on-call engineer from the facilities management.
20:13 – Power has been restored and normal service should resume shortly.
20:33 – All services appear to be running as per usual. If any affected customers do notice any further issues please contact support in the usual manner.
RFO: The issue was ultimately traced to a faulty server which caused a problem in the PDU, which caused the breaker to trip and took power to the cabinet offline. The server and PDU in question were isolated, the breaker reset by facilities management and servers brought back online using an alternate PDU.
