Brief: We are finishing performance upgrades on the following Sheffield, UK based shared servers:
- web1.pipeten.co.uk – Web Service
- mysql.pipeten.co.uk – MySQL Service
Timeframe: Thursday 20th May 2010 between 22:00 and 23:00.
Expected Impact: The above listed services will be unavailable for a short period of time while servers are rebooted.
What you need to do: Refrain from performing non interruptible FTP or MySQL transactions on affected services around this time period and inform us if you see any issues after this time.

20/05/2010 22:40 – MySQL should be fully returned and is being tested.
20/05/2010 22:4 – Initial MySQL tests and feedback indicates no problems. Testing will continue, however if you see any problems with your MySQL databases please contact the support team.
