How long have you been with Pipe Ten
Since day 0, just under 10 years!
What are your main duties?
Primarily focussed around strategy, accounts, customer service, domains and day to day operations, I tend to have a hand in most of the less technical things really.
How did you get started with computers?
Another child of the ZX Spectrum era I’m afraid. I’m still known to boot up an emulator occasionally nowadays to relive those days. Fortunately with emulators you don’t need to wait 20 minutes only for the software to fail to load!
What is your favourite piece of leisure technology?
My Blackberry?
Do you have any hobbies?
I swim most mornings. I used to enjoy going surfing but since working at Pipe Ten I’ve I seem to get less and less opportunities to go. Sheffield doesn’t have a local beach!

Your strongest asset?
My pool playing ability.
Your biggest weakness?
Not being able to turn down a challenge to play Mario Kart on the office Gamecube.
Any office based pet peeves?
The smell of super strong coffee stinking out the office, when the beer fridge gets empty or when people lay servers on the pool table. How many do you want?
Any interesting facts about yourself?
Not particularly. I like to wear flip flops. I mainly drink water or beer and eat pasta or pizza. I have a pet pig.
Nice to put a name to a face! I’ve had a few reasons to log a support ticket in the past (only a few), and Gavin has been one of the people who has helped me sort out any problems I’ve had.
