Maintenance completed.
We are due to perform maintenance on the following Linux shared hosting servers to resolve ongoing performance and stability issues.
Shared servers: dweb4.pipeten.co.uk
Date(s): Thursday 2nd February 2012 – Friday 3rd February 2012
Maintenance Window: between 22:00 Thursday and 02:00 Friday
Estimated Impact: The updates involve the reconfiguration and restarting of the Web services, and also possible brief interruptions to the FTP and Control Panel services to customers on dweb4 as the physical server is rebooted after the updates are completed. This work has been completed on other similar servers and the expectation is for no more than 15 minutes downtime in total.
We will test site(s) and/or servers(s) after maintenance is completed in addition to our normal intensive monitoring and alerting. In the unlikely event you see any problems after the maintenance window and we have not otherwise contacted you then please do contact the support team.
Updates:
21:55 – This scheduled maintenance is due to begin in 5 minutes with OS updates first.
00:01 – The vast majority of tonight’s work has been completed successfully and initial tests look good. We will continue testing but pending any problems not further interruptions are be expected.
00:30 – We will continue to monitor the logs and incoming requests closely but testing suggests no problems, let us know if you see something different.
Best Regards,
Pipe Ten Engineering Team
