An easy way to publish your database to Pipe Tens database server is to use the Database Publishing Wizard.

This can be download here

Once downloaded and installed open the Database Publishing Wizard.

You will see the splash screen, select ‘Do not show this starting page again’ so you don’t always see this page, click Next.

You will now be brought to the ‘Specify Source Server‘ page. This is where you need to select your source database. Click Next.

This will bring you to the ‘Select an Output Location‘ page.

Select Publish to Shared Hosting Provider, click More, click New.

Here are the detail you will need:

Name: Pipe Ten Hosting
Web service address: https://msdps.pipeten.co.uk/Publish/Service.asmx

Web service authentication
Username: Your default FTP username
Password: Your default FTP password

Under Available databases
Click New
Server name: mssql.pipeten.co.uk
Database name: Your Pipe Ten Database

Database authentication
Username: Your Pipe Ten database username
Password: Your Pipe Ten database password
Click OK, Click Test

You should see the message “A successful connection was made to Pipe Ten Hosting” if you do not see this please recheck your authentication details, otherwise click OK, then Next.

You are now at the ‘Select Publishing Options‘ page, review the information ensuring you have the correct options selected, click Next.

You’ll now be on the ‘Review Summary‘ this is your last chance to check everything before you publish your database, once happy, click Finish.

Your database should now start to be published to our server, once finished select close and check your database.
