Set up your Pipe Ten email on your iOS7 iPad or iPhone

In this tutorial we are going to walk though the setting up of your Pipe Ten email on your iOS 7 iPhone or iPad device.


If you are using email, you should be using SSL

The secure ports for all email clients can be found below and should be used in combination with SSL:

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTPs): Port 465
Incoming Mail Server (POPs): Port 995
Incoming Mail Server (IMAPs): Port 993
Incoming/Outgoing Mail Servers: mail.pipeten.co.uk

Setting up email on iOS7

  1. Tap on Settings, then using the left hand side menu select, Mail, Contacts, Calenders and on the right side plane, click Add Account.

  5. You will now be presented with the New Account setup box. Enter the name of your mail box (this can be anything), enter your full email address, password and a unique description to identify the mailbox.

  7. Select the email account type at the top of this box, either IMAP or POP.
    Enter your mailbox details using the full email address as your username. We recommend using mail.pipeten.co.uk for both your incoming and outgoing mail servers.

  9. Once all the details are filled in, click next.

And that is it, nice and simple. You are now set up to use your Pipe Ten hosted email on your iPhone or iPad.
