Adding a new account to Outlook 2007

This guide will show step-by-step instructions for adding a new account to Outlook 2007.

Server Information

Incoming mail server ports:

Secure SSL: 995
Standard: 110
Secure SSL: 993
Standard: 143

Outgoing mail server (SMTP):

Outgoing mail server ports:
Secure SSL: 465
Standard: 25
Standard Alternative: 587

Adding a new account to Outlook 2007:

    1. To start, you will need to open up Outlook 2007.


    1. Select the Tools Menu


    1. select Account Settings


    1. Click the Add Account Button


    1. Choose to Manually configure server settings.


    1. Click Next


    1. Choose Internet E-Mail


    1. Click Next


      • Enter your Name as you want it to appear on your outbound email messages.
      • Enter your email address
      • For your incoming/outgoing mail servers, set them both to
      • Enter your email address for the username.
      • Enter your email password.


  1. Click Finish

That’s it, your new account should be set up and ready to go in Outlook 2007.
